$25 Tool Box

Picked this up craigslist for $25, had to cut it up to make it fit my stepside.

Cut and Closed it with the piece that was cut

Primed:

Painted looking good as new:

After paint I spent $40 total, $40 well spent

Nice find. I usually miss opportunities like this off craigslist. That or I don't have the cash at the time. My bed rails actually hold my drop in bed liner in place so I'm limited on toolbox options until I get a spray on. Just debating whether I want to dish out the $ when I hardly haul anything around. I have a single cab though and would like more room for a second sub woofer. (need a place to store my backpack, jumper cables, tools, etc.)

Yeah it does look like that in the picture but it doesn't stick out..it's flush with the cab, the tool box is for a small/medium size truck it just doesn't fit because I have the stepside

I want to paint my toolbox like that.

What paint and primer did you use - it looks really good.

I used all Rust-Oleum Engine Enamel Primer, Black, and Clear Coat...I did shiny black but I realized I should of used Flat black and more clear coat....after the clear coat is when it looks really good
