Has anyone removed these off the truck. Checking to see what kind of job it is to take off and put back on.

tons and tons of clips.. holes drilled in the fenders for them.. when you get them off just mail them to me. thanks Terry!

 

I would not recommend removing them, they are a royal pain to get back on.

 

^^ ditto also you usually brake 50% easy of the clips then have to go see Mr. Henry Ford at the parts department

 

yep been there done that. ive only had flares for a few months

my flares are only held on via the body clips on the sides....nothin on the inside lip. I ALWAYS throw flares while im wheelin.

 

ya your point? you have a gen 5 its different flares. newer one's have it on the wheel lip also.. hell my 2000 has them on the wheel lip also

 

yea....your point? body clips snapping into the fenders. push rivet/pin things pushing into the fender lip....so?.....all mount the same way...gen4/5/6/7 wtf gen these damn things are(gen designations make no since to me). I was just saying I throw them off all the time, push 'em back on...good to go. It ain't a pain to take off and put on...i've done it about 4 times...fully installed as well.
