recently picked up an 03 ford ranger. How difficult would it be to get the honeycomb grille to fit on my truck?

My 03 came with that . Try a junk yard.

 

if you can find the COMPLETE grille it is way easy. theres just 6(?) screws under the hood that hold it down. then there are 4 clips at the bottom of the grille. so yeah try a junkyard you might get lucky!
as far as JUST swapping the middle part i cant remember how my stock one was :( i want to say it is just screwed in from behind but not poisitive
