I have a 94 ranger 5 speed 3.0 motors blew up putting a brand new motor in it after I get back from the army nothing majorly wrong with cab but been thinking and wondering about either dropping a 2002ish cab on it never knew Ford made a regular 4 door cab instead of the rear opening doors but I want to either find a rust free 4 door cab on the truck or to anyone's knowledge is their anyone that makes new ranger cabs highly doubt it but it'd be nice to do a complety rebuild of truck frames solid Wich is surprising considering pa roadsalt

 

US/Canada 1983-2011 Rangers never had a "Crew Cab" 4-door, they did get optional rear opening 1/2 doors in the late 1990's, hinged at the rear, so you have to open front door to open rear door

South American and Mexico did have a Crew Cab Ranger version but different frame, couldn't pass US/Canada safety standards

You can replace your extended cab 2 door with a 1999 and up 4-door Ranger extended cab

The 1999-2003 would be most compatible with 1994 dash and wiring

In 1995 Rangers got a whole new wiring setup, a newer model engine computer AND a Body Computer to run the cab electrics, the GEM Module, it controlled wipers, cab lights, windows, door locks and 4x4 system if so equipped
So would be better to use your complete 1994 wiring harness in a later model cab

 

That extended cab ain't great for passengers. I'd mostly want that one so I can recline the front seats. Plus a lil storage back there
