Your fenders are the same as an 01+ already.. and you dont have to have the powerdome hood. Just like you said- the headerpanel, grille and headlights/corners.

fenders are the same i believe. Hood can be the same. Get the "powerdome hood" that is straight across. The higher up years the hood is shaped slightly diff, i dont know exactly how to explain it but someone will provide pics.

Check this out.......VERY nice idea imo.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2001-...QQcmdZViewItem

Fairly nicely priced too. Depends on what grille you want, the 2wd XL grille (like in the auction) or an EDGE or XLT 4x4. I believe the auction includes EVERYTHING you need.

Good luck w/ what ever you do.

Heck yes you can!

And by the way.

94-97 = a generation
98-00 = a generation
01-03 = a generation
and then 04+ is a generation, maybe there's 06 or 07 bein diff.

Most people want the 01-03 swap.

AND yes, you could do this swap to make an old ranger look as if it was built in the 2000s! Hmm, I feel as if im missing something though..

Not w/out more parts you'll need to get the 98+ fenders, header panel, lights, and for the 04 front end, the power dome hood for sure. I think you'll need to get the newer style bumper as well because the 93-97 bumper is just relatively flat on top and the 98+ bumpers have somewhat of a curve to accomodate the grille.

anyways the older bumpers would look like ****.

Yah I think the fenders is what i was forgetting.
