What Exhaust?

Im wanting to replace my stock exhaust on my 2002 Edge ext cab 4x4, and wasnt sure as to which exhaust would be best?

I would like to run duals straight back, or just duals atleast. I looked at Flowmaster, Gibsons, and Magnaflows, but not sure which may be better. Also, would you recommend SS pipes, or just the standard metal?

Midas gave me an estimate for about 450.00 installed flomaster duals, cat back.

Thanks

Borla Hands down! I have a SI/DO coming out in front of the right rear and I love it. I wish I'd gone with this set up along time ago. I used to have glass packs SI/SO and dual tips coming out the back and it was to loud, also dented up the tips off-roading.

k, what is a "good" price for it? and should I go Stainless Pipes all the way, or just the standard (steel?) pipe?

Or how long will it last, before it all rusts away in the midwest snow/salt?

you know where you can get a good price exhaust?

do you go to Columbia City much? There is a guy that does good work at a decent price. I am not sure what it would cost for you but go down there and tell him I told you to go there.

Its Rawliegh (sp?) Automotive. It is down west of the court house on Van Buren Street.

If you need better directions PM me.

Zabeard: I dont get out there much, but its not too far to drive, ill try to get out there, or ill call

I dont really do much off roading, at least yet, but if I do, I dont want the chrome tips getting all messed up.

Ive checked with 3 places here locally, and the best price I can get for flowmaster 40s its 425.00 or some off brand for the same price... ill keep checking though.

haha, actually, I was always told it was a 'drop down' but 'turn down' works too :-p

If you do end up getting that exhaust thrown on, try to make a video of its tone and quality :-) that, or pictures.. pictures pictures and more pictures

So would it better to run dual "turn downs", or just single one? which would sound better do you think?

Ill check out Fair too. I went to Exhaust World, and they were 425.00 for an aftermarket brand I havent heard of...

Best bet is to find a backwater town with a couple godo auto shops, they usually know the ins and outs of the vehicles, and wont overcharge ya a leg and an arm.. adn get the job done right.. usually elt you come back in and get it tweaked a litte for free too if they are good enough :-D

I called a couple more places, and im finding... I can get "flow pro" duals (one muffler) for around 325-350. OR I can get "Prosounds" for 375.00

or I can one from a place in huntington for 255.00 (I just hung up from them)
cat back duals, stainless tips, Flow-Pro.

Are flow-pros good? or rather how od they compare to flowmaster?

Thanks!

Is that a good idea, or will it sounds like crap?
