A member, Alon, created these mounts that you screwed into the tailgate mounting bolt. You can get one here:

it is behind the cab......with an alon mount. lol.

No...not really since there's a tonneau cover. He could however, unbolt the bed, move it back some, add a 90degree bracket to the front of the bed, then put the antenna on and mount the bed back up.......but there still might be issues with room still between the cab and bed.

Could drill a hole in the side the bed and use one of those ball/rotator mounts...but then he's got a hole on the side of his bed.

K 40 antennas with the quick disconnect mount...

Don't know what kind of antenna is in said application but

This Will work...

I had one on my 96 for years... Loved it need to get the antenna off quick, say trees out 4,wheelin, or parking in garage, half a turn and the coil and antenna is off...

Wilson antenna's are by far MUCH better.

Tell him to get a Wilson magnet mount.

Little Will is about $30-$40
Wilson 500 is about $50
Wilson 1000 is about $70
Wilson 5000 is around $80+, I paid $86 for my Wilson 5000 and I love it, but I'm running amp's.
