Desperation SUCKS....

Allright, I'll make this quick.

I'm guessing that the kit shown with the SEMA Ranger, now known as the STX, will not see production. The bumper will, that's cool. But IMO the kit just brought everything together. Having said that, I do not want to use just the bumper with no rocker panels/bed panels to accompany it.

The only Ranger kit out there that isn't overly gaudy (Razzi) is the one originally used on the SLP Thunderbolt, which is now owned by Roush. I'm kind of 50/50 on liking this kit. It is simple, but very big, height-wise. It also sticks out pretty far from the sides. BUT, I do like the way the rear terminates with the dual tips being somewhat incorporated into the rollpan, and the lights are present for the liscense plate (my rollpan I have now has NO lights). Also, it is very strong, and relatively cheap. But would it look right on my truck? Picture it with the STX valence.

Poll is included also....

It all depends on the height of the STX bumper vs. the height of the side and rear. The rear wouldn't really much matter as long as the sides were close to the front.

I would hold off a little while to see if the kit makes production or not.

PM me some pictures of your truck, and a truck with the SLP/Roush kit installed, and I'll happily photoshop the kit onto your truck.

Lower it more and leave it alone.

Going lower would not give me an optimum RCG for autocrossing. I'm not interested in having any WORSE of a ride than I do now.

And I don't like the chrome. :)

The STX only looks like a front bumper though, I did not see sideskirts or a different bumper. Do you think they are gonna have a kit for the STX? How much is the Thunderbolt kit?

Eh, back in the day, there was a kit accompanying it. It was shown at SEMA.

BUT, since the truck has been dubbed the STX, the kit has disappeared.

Thunderbolt kit is around $300 for the sides, $150 for the rear. The problem is that I might have to go duals with the SLP kit. :(

Sucks you can't use your rollpan with the SLP kit, but I guess it doesn't conform with the flow of the sides. I like the simplicity and flow you have now.
