Diff cover paint

What do you guys use for diff cover paint? I used engine paint back when I did mine but rust is coming through.

I prefer Rustoleum, since Schwinn bike paint was unavailable (Eddie Van Halen Frankie reference)

you can probably get an oem cover new for cheap. I'll be getting a new one and spraying it with bed liner once spring comes. I'm not a fan of flashy colors or chrome on the underside of the truck but thats just my preference.

Right now mine is sprayed with the 97 cent can of flat black you can get at Home Depot. That stuff actually holds up surprisingly well, its made in the rustoleum plant but branded with the "quick color" name.
