Door handle long travel
Door handle long travel
Hi. New here. Thanks for the add.
We just bought a 2001 Ranger supercab 4x4 for our teenage daughter. Going over the issues and fixes. I haven't found the solution for this yet. Both the driver and passenger front door handles have to move almost completely before they will unlatch the door to open, almost like a stretched cable. Is there an adjustment or do I just need to replace the handles? This is just one of many fixes I have to do but an important one.
Thank you for any insight!

LMC Truck is a good site to get parts and see whats inside things like the door
Look at this page from there: Truck Parts and Truck Accessories
Yes, it could cable has stretched, but both cables stretching would be odd, drivers side always gets used more
