grr headlights... options!
grr headlights... options!
Well I just noticed 5 mins ago that theres water in my driver's side headlight, just enough to bother me. so, should I just fix me headlight, get a new/used one..... or get new black heads/corners...

thanx

moisture in the headlight is so easy to fix you might as well save your bucks, I've done it on numerous headlights and taillights, 2 options worked for me
silicone the perimeter of the housing and the lens, wrap the sockets in teflon tape to prevent any air from escaping
or drill 2 holes in the light to allow air to pass thru without condensing, I drilled a small (maybe 1/8") hole in the side of the light, and another on the bottom
Never had a problem since
But if it was me I'd just do the headlight mod if I were you
you're resealing them anyway so you won't have a problem afterwards as long as you take ur time

I can see where the majority of this is going.... haha ok ok, Im gonna go to a couple junkyards here very soon to check on a couple new surprises to my madness (freddie you're about to get a pm) and to get another set of headlights and Ill bake them bass-terds.
Kinda off topic for my 1st post on the forum lol. But where did you get your bugshield, i'm having hell finding any ones other then the one that sticks out so far past the sides of each fender, and i can't stand that one.
haha Ill see what I can do, I wanted the black heads/corners for a while anyway. Ill keep you all updated.
y is everything a secret with u lol
I just replaced my headlight lens that was full of water and condensatio. The replacement I got was free, so it's all good. But I took the old one and filled it up with water and washed it out and I let it air dry in the house and now it's completely dry with no water or condensation inside.
