Does anyone know if Ford used a different header pannel from 04-05 than they did on the most recent line-up? Also, along the same lines, Is the hood the same?

Edit: What different composites are these hoods made out of? When I had mine replaced from my accident they used a steel hood I believe. It's heavy...too heavy.

Bob and Kris sell the 06 conversion kit for the 04-05 rangers, only differences between the 2 is the style of the grille, corner lights, and bumper/valance (06 is one piece)

They are all the same shape from what i understand. Even the bumper/valance thing mounts in the same spot as the metal bumpers.

 

I'm considering a facelift, but I'd be going from an `02 to an `08 and I can't find anyone selling header pannel, hood or bumper listed as 06+

so I just wouldn't want to pay for 04 parts and them not match

Pretty sure all you'll need is a hood, grille, corner lights, and bumper/valance. I wanna do it, too but I'm broke.

 

what year are you asking "most recent line up" the 04 header panel is the same thru 08
now the bumper i have no idea

the hood is the same from 04-08
i "think" they only had steel hoods from 04-08 i know the 01-03 had the edge hood which was a fiberglass & plastic composite
