what brand of hids is everyone using and where did you get them and what brightness?

Autoluminate ebay store. I run either a 4300k or 6000k or 12000k in my heads, and 3000k in my fogs(and the occasional 30,000k in the fogs too!)

I got mine from www.xenoneyes.com about a year and a half ago. No problems so far, but they cost more than the autoluminate place.

 

another thing about autoluminate....i've beenrunning them in my fogs for a year now without any issues whatsoever. the heads are another story since they like to 'blink' all the damn time. lol. heads are not from autoluminate.

 

what is the best number to get if i dont want the "blue"

i love the crisp look of hid but i think blue is fugly

from the looks of it, i think 4300k fits best

 

4300k is perfect imo....it's flashy without being super flashy. The color is comparable to Silvania Silverstar Ultra halogens, but alot brighter. It's White with a slight hint of yellow and lights the ground up very similar to a halogen.

But...if you want pure white with a tiny hint of blue, 6000k is the way to go.

www.xenonvisions.com is where I got mine. Part of a group buy from another forum site I belong to. 6000K's I love them. As far as the "color" or temp of the lights, it really comes down to when you think looks best.

 

Yeah Shane has it dead on, 6000k are super white with a little tint of blue, very little. 4300k are about the same white with a little tint of yellow.
