Tempted to do something like this during the summer - probably a flat black to match the fenders and black scheme I'm going with..

Dont mind the right KC light there - was adjusting them that day and didnt fully tighten it up

I like it, but dont go down over the edges on the side. Just keep it up on the very top and down around the grille.

The biggest problem doing it that way - it wouldnt line up at all, the lower edge of the grill and the lower powerdome line of the hood part line up perfectly

Edit:
This is an older picture from about a year and a half ago - but it shows how the lines line up on there..

Yeah I'm the same way. I like the clean look with just the engine decals.

I see what you mean. Couldnt you do something like I said and just have it on top and then at the end of the hood by the grille have it kind of "spread out" if you will, down into the grille? Do you get what Im saying?

It would definitely look pretty good. Maybe try out the idea with DSG? That would look killer with white.

if your just borded and want something cheap to do to the truck, paint the front valance and your frame/fender wells/rear axle. looks like your flares are already done? black stubby antenna would be nice too, i love mine

That other picture is old - i have all my flares painted, my rear axle.. the wells will be rubberized in a bit to match all the colors under there - I have to do somethign on my front end - and I have to fully repaint something, I have too many chips out of the ront of my front valance due to bunches of rocks and junk... its like a big sore spot on my truck :-( Grey primer underneath it all :-(
