hood latch 98 the same as 01-03?

Just trying to find out if the one on the truck will work or if I will need one off a 01-03 to do the 98-01 conversion?

yes they are the same. i just did the 98 to 04

ya I unbolted my hood and swapped it for the powerdome. I did not swap the latch at all. you will need to adjust the latch on the core support some tho, no big deal
