hood worn down to fiberglass where bugshield was, options?

i removed the bugshield that was on the truck i bought, because it looked like a unibrow lol, and on the "corners" of the hood bulge where it curves down to the edge of the hood, the paint is worn down to the fiberglass where the bugshield has rubbed over the years, and theres also some abrasion on the paint on the front edge of the hood. i was thinking of either trying to cut the bugshield down so its not so thick and in a sense make it "low profile", or i was also wanting opinions on getting a strip of black vinyl and apply it to the hood where a bugshield would be. it would look like a bra, but it would cover the messed up paint. i just dont know how good it would look. opinions please

Wirelessly posted (Droid2)

You could put vinyl on the hood.

Yup, basically all of your options are listen above.

I always use an imperfection on my truck as an excuse to do some custom paint or design.
