how to take ford emblem off tail gate
Never done it so I wanted to know the easiest way to get it off? Is it like the side emblems where its just help on by adhesive or is it popped in there? Thanks.
i did it not too long ago , some fishing line and some gloves and get in between the paint and the emblem start back moving the line back and forth , it will take awhile and not seem like its doing nothing , but it is and mine came off with no paint removed
o and you will brake the line every now and them so get a roll

it was and it was held on by ...ummmm like plastic pins and the fishing line will cut though that ,.. i think it took me maybe a hour and half
I think i'll just tape it off LOL. Unfortunately we're at a point where there is limited light outside ha
i took the tail gate off and took it in side and worked in front of the TV,......i think that why it took so long i think the a.d.d. kicked in

are you talking about the 95 tail gate? mine is bolted on thought the tail gate. you have to take the access panel off and work your arm in there with a small wrench. loosen the nuts and it will fall right out. aleast thats how min is on
all supposed to be held on by 3M tape.
Go somewhere that has autobody supplies and get a fiber stick or wedge preferably, then you can just get underneath it and pry it off, just be careful not to put too much pressure trying to pry it or you can dent your tailgate. Thats how i get emblems off every day at work and how I got my oval off my tailgate in about 20 seconds. Dont waste an hour and a half trying to cut it off with fishing line, then you also wont have any line up pins when you go to put it back on.
