Looks like its Lockable. If it is and it keeps the tail gate closed too then I like it.

Yeah, it's lockable & keeps the tailgate closed. That's why i had to keep it boxy at the back so the tail gate is locked in.

I like this idea... I'm all about acknowledging something looks goofy and having fun with it. Also I agree with what someone else said... it'd look better if there was something on top of it or atleast the same color of the truck... but... bottom line... whatever floats your boat!!

I think its a good first try, I'm sure you're thinking of things you would do differently. If you made version 2.0

You could probably get some black vinyl fairly cheap and use that instead of the carpet.

No Struts, i once had plans of adding struts, but never got around to it. So now i use a board to hold it up when i need it open. Yeah, version 2.0 will be better. A few more years though.

If water is getting in, it might be from the sides. Maybe try and get some rubber or something similar and try to insalate the sides so water cant drip/run in.
