looking for Spyder LED Tail Lights for 2011 Ranger

I just bought a 2011 Ranger sport and looking to do simple mods for now. In particular, I am trying to find Spyder LED tail lights to swap out the stock lights. Every web site I have gone to says they only fit up to 2005 at the latest. Is the 2005 the same as the 2011 tail light? And any recommendations to swap them or not?

Yes there the same. I had them on my ranger before I sold it. They were smoking at first if you hold the brake for a long time. It stopped after I got a led third brake light too. I would just go a different brand or 06+ look smoked.

Ebay's your cheapest. Just buy from a store that has a good rating. As for what brand it's all preference.

These LED tail lights use poor quality LEDs with no voltage regulation.

^^heeeere we go.

OP, for what you're looking for, they will work. They are plenty bright. Brighter then Stock tails w/stock bulbs and look great. I have a pair, and haven't had any problems for the last 2 yrs. On my second pair only because I backed into something and broke the lense on the pass side for the first pair. lol

@Jp7....I understand you are the one to go to for advice on lights. What brand LED tail lights would you recommend?

He makes his own stuff...here is page #10 of a thread where he starts talking about what he did for rear lights.
