The ultimate Ranger PCB LED Exterior Lighting project
$450 in LED's, $335 in power supplies... Morimoto projector retrofits are what... $150 each (including bulb)? So $300 for both trucks. That's $1085.. not including extra headlights and the 2 sets of tail lights (approximiately $120 for 2 sets) it takes for you to do each truck, so $240 (that's assuming you don't screw them up while taking them apart and have to buy a 3rd set, like you did), Headlights around $100 a set... so $200... That's about $1525..., not including the projectors you were gonna use for fogs. I'd say it's pretty accurate you spent about $600 on each truck and some on the car also. Also just to mention back on page 7 (in september, you had already spend 900)
Guy wanted to know how much it would cost to do this... there is his answer based on your numbers you gave... For someone to follow what you did, I'd say that's it's a pretty accurate assumption that they will spend that much plus miscellaneous supplies and materials. Not to mention the incredible amount of time you have put into this, and I'd guess a lot of people couldn't have their vehicle down that long, and that would require them to have extra sets to begin with so they could work on it and still have a vehicle to drive.

I still think you should have picked a better looking light to do that with, like an 06 OEM. Those cheap chinese tails still look like cheap chinese tails, regardless of an absurd amount of leds in them.
I wanted a clear lense so it could look albino, like the front.
I built boards for the sidemarker-corners & headlights that are the same as my white ranger. These are for my blue ranger. I painted them today, after already etching, and drilling my holes.. I really like how this blue paint is coming along.

Today I started building the power supplies for the LEDs on my 2nd set of headlights (the blue ones). I used my design for the tail lights on my first truck, I just modified it by getting rid of the reverse LED circuit.
