Had my truck for about 8 months and the ford badge fell off the tailgate. It came off when I closed it so luckily I didn't lose it. I've got a feeling it came off in large part due to the cold temps here lately.

Anyway what kind of glue would you recommend for sticking it back on, something that will hold during the winters?

they sell a double sided tape that 3m makes at the auto part stores. if it's still under warranty i'd bring it back to the dealer and say wtf!?!?

 

Just so you don't feel alone, my 2010 Ranger Ford badge was laying on my driveway yesterday one year after purchase. It just fell off on its own. The last I opened and closed the gate was a few days before.

 

3m stuff works great, but I agree... Take it back! You shouldn't have to worry about that on a brand new truck!
