Need some measurements for the '06 Ford badge

Hey, could one of you guys with an '06 measure the top to bottom of the Ford emblem on the tailgate? I am putting one on my truck but don't know where it goes since I don't have the alignment holes. Thanks

Most auto parts stores use Ranger's. You could measure one of them.

Lemme go measure for you. Youll owe me, it's cold and I parked down the block.

That was gonna be my plan tomorrow Kris if I couldn't get someone to do it. The advance down the road has three brand new ones. I just didn't want to look like a weirdo out there measuring it.

Thank you Morris. I appreciate it. I know its cold here so it has to be bad there. lol

Ok, I didn't measure the emblem but from the bottom of the tailgate handle to the top of the emblem is 3.5". From the bottom of the emblem to the lower body line on the tailgate is 3.5".

From driver's edge and the passenger's edge of the tailgate to the respective edges of the emblem is 22.25ish". It was a little dark and one side was 22.5" and the other was 22".

Thanks, I was able to move my truck closer. A spot opened up.

He probably did that to cover up the holes from the old emblem.

I figured. I was just razzin. It does look good and only a 06+ ranger driver would know about that.

Ya, it was to cover the holes up from the old Ford badge. There really isn't much I can do about it unless I get something else to put over the holes.

Could have just covered it with another one of these:
