Looks sweet Sean, though I'm kinda biased on the darkshadow gray idea, I think that'd look awesome as well. If you had the money to spend, I'd say get that 2 toned job, it'd definitely kick butt.

i must say it looks kind-of luxurious after looking at it for about 5 minutes....almost like you spent more money on the truck then listed. now if you can add some nice chrome, not polished!, rims that adds to the truck but not takes away from it you'd be set.

Leave the nerf bars black so thay match other wise i would paint the front bar that color too

some type of pinstriping would look nice to seperate the colors, like a dark silverish or offwhitish one.
i'd definately do a pin striping to seperate the colors, i just didnt add it in the ps!

and yeah, if i were to do the paint job, rims would definately be next. like i mentioned though, i'd probably stay with 16s, unless i found a deal on 17s+ tires (that belong on a 4x4, im not looking to go low profile).

how big would the flames be?? it definately sounds like it would look awesome. if not flames, maybe some sort of simple jagged lines, like a long narrow tribal pattern or something like that. only problem i see would be if something happened to the flames, it would probably be a few bucks to fix if anything ever happened to them. i would love to have something that good though!
the flames would be about and 1"-1 1/2" just enough to brake the lines. ya a tribal would be nice. probly not if you take it back to the same guy who did it.

its not quite the same as the harley orange, but close to it. i kinda liked the shade of this orange better than the harley orange, so i left it as that. as for the name, there is none, its a photoshop color combination i put together.

check out www.nhtoc.com .Theres a few guys with the black/orange paint scheme on their f-150's. The color they used is actually a nissan color and it is a little more of a burnt orange, which i find looks better than the harley orange.

looks different, how much you plan on spending a paintjob like that costs about 5-6000 bucks professionally, Ive been waiting to get my mustang repainted. So far im saving my money a guy is gonna do it on the side for 1600 complere redo body work and paint. Shop around for some prices.

im almost certain that i wont get anything done (as i mentioned in the first post). it was more or less just me thinking about stuff, and wanting opinions. but yeah, i figured it would be around the 5g range, so, the price wouldnt suprise me if i heard something near that.

and clay, looking at that chart is hard to figure out, lol. i'd say maybe either one of the Dark Oranges, or maybe one of the Red Oranges. which shade? i don't know, too hard to tell!

i know im a new guy but im also professional body man, first thing, b4 you get your hear set on that harley color, make sure that it isnt a pearl color because if it is, a touch up later on wont be impossible ill just be VERY, VERY annoying and time consuming. next look at the oranges out there (srt4 neon and i believe chevy had a nice orange) go to your local jobber and look at a paint chip book, youll see some pretty sweet colors in there, me id do a black and dark blue or black and dark red

Check out my 2001 Harley Ranger. What do you think of the paint job? It doesn't have the Harley orange, but I like it better. It is orange from a Grand Prix and fades into a Grand Am red. The color stands out a lot better than the flat Harley orange. The gun metal grey would look hot with it too.
