Just a quick question here, when you remove the Ford emblem on the 05 and older trucks, your stuck with 3 holes. If one were to shave the holes for a smooth surface, what would be the best material to use? I heard bondo wont last and welding it is the best idea. Is there any other options besides welding?

welding is your only option that will really last and look good.....

hold a piece of brass behind the holes and weld them full (the weld will not stick to the brass)....then grind the weld spots smooth....apply a little filler over the welds to smooth them up completely....

I knew a guy that put Rivets in the holes, and then grinded it down and bondo
