paint the valance

paint the valance

ok guys i just panted my grille black and i love it so now i want to paint the valance the same color. Just wondering if anyone has any tips on how to remove and how to paint it all help would be appricated.

You can paint it withoout removing it-that's how i did mine the first time. Just mask everything off really well, then cover the whole truck with the cheap plastic dropcloths and spray away. I used Krylon Fusion on mine, just be sure to clean and dry everything really well. Creating a sig with your truck's info will help you immensely on the forums.

I fixed it for you. It is an easy job, but prepping before paint is crucial.

If you wanna take it off there are like 7-10 screws holding it to the bumper, Find them and remove them and the valance will drop off, I took mine off to paint it because I dont trust myself masking the truck, lol

i got it off and cleaned tonight and tomorrow (after fishing of course) im sprying some color on it. cant wait to see what its gunna look like

i used bumper paint on mine and it came off when i was washing it

ok so i got everything painted and put back together. Black grille (check), Black valance (check), Black rear bumber step (check) so happy with everything i love it.[ATTACH]paint the valance-p6210153.jpg
