my comp is wiggin' out..i'll let trevor post pics of our buddy Austin's 98 Xcab double lifted bright red truck.....black flares, black valence. then red flares, red valence so you can get a visual.(although, the second one mentioned includes a 01-03 front end and bumper swap. lol.)

PAINT IT!!! looks amazing. only thing is that it shows up any nicks and chips in the plastic. but its easy, hardes part is gettin the bastards off. i just did the flares, need to do the front valance and rear bumper pad. i used rustoleum plastic primer and gloss black rustoleum plastic spraypaint from rural king. worked great. if you have to cut the panel clips that hold the flares on you can get em at autozone for like 4 bux for 15 clips. it all changes the whole look of the truck. i was temped to leave em off completely, but the flares rubbed/scratched a big ring on all the fenders. plus the holes look stupid. lol

Black! OEM Grey looks pretty ****ty on any color vehicle - Its a wonder that Ford only offers black ones on the FX4 or the brand new trucks o.o
