relocate gas tank!

Icon3 relocate gas tank!

is there any way to relocate the gas tank?
my 99 ranger sits lower because of the gas tank (driver side) i was thinking about putting it somewhere else in the middle of the chassis but idk yet. maybe some of u did it
is it possible?

Dont waste your time. About the only thing you can do is a fuel cell in the bed.

The Ranger Lean is wut you got. Everyone has it, some are worse than others. If you have torsion bars you can crank one up a little to level it out some. Other than that don't worry about it.

yeah, won't be able to put it in the center of the frame as that's where your driveshaft runs. some people have done the bronco II gas tank swap, but not sure what would be involved for a 98+

I just fill my gas tank to 3/4 at the pump instead of full on my 2000. It keeps the lean down.

Check out the BII gas tank. It mounts where your spare tire currently is. You can also fit an econoline tank in the same location for even more capacity, but they take more work.

Not my thread but have you seen a write up on the econoline tank or pics? Iv,e heard of it being done but no one seem to know about it. Thanks joey!
