Replace my front clip

does anyone know if i would be able to fit the edge front end on my XLT like if i used the same year and stuff? i would want the hood bumper and grill area

01-03 XLT(4x4) or EDGE Grille
01-03 XLT(4x4) or EDGE Hood aka "Powerdome"
and any bumper will look good..

so i would have to get the whole grille assembly corect and it should mount right on along with the hood

yep it will fit,u need the header panel support,headlights and edge hood if u really want the edge look

ya the edge has the same headlights as the XLt and since i need a new valence i might just get the edge buper and then get the hood later

No header panel needed, your truck is a 2001, so a 2001-2003 grille(yes the whole thing) will pop right in place(after you unbolt the small bolts on top of the grille then pull out the old one), 4 bolts for the hood, 4 bolts for the bumper(if you replace the whole thing or if you just do the valance there are alot of smaller bolts that hold the plastic to the metal bumper)

recommend 2 buddies to help with the hood,, the bumper and grille are a one man job but it never hurts to have help.. and no need to touch your headlights

Well I bought a whole parts truck so you can't really judge it buy my cost. Besides I got a heck of a deal I probably won't run across again.

I just put it on sunday and haven't got it painted yet I think it will look graet when done. BTW I changed my fenders but you wouldn't need too.

ya i saw that u put the edge fenders on there i know some people with those that have had them fall off everyonce in awhile....but i dont know how good it would look with the edge front end and no edge fenders

I just meant that if you already have holes in the fenders you could just install the edge flares. I changed mine because my truck didn't have the holes in the fenders, I had the other flares installed with two sided tape. I didn't realize they were prone to fall off.
