1996 Ford ranger extended cab back sliding glass window
Hey, my back sliding glass window on my 1996 ranger is busted out. I’ve heard different things but I want to find out if I’m able to replace just the back middle sliding glass part, or do I need to replace the entire back window? Thanks

If you can find one with broken side glass, a wrecking yard might sell you the sliding window part separately
But usually you have to buy the whole rear window
Regular cab from 1983 thru 1997 have rear glass held in place by the gasket, 1998-2011 they are bolted in
All Extended cab are all bolted in
Slider or non-slider doesn't matter, they are all the same size just the mounting is different, i.e. gasket only or bolt in
1996 extended cab will be bolt in, so if replacing the whole window, you will need extended cab window or 1998 and up regular cab window
Just a heads up, around 2006 Ford added 2 more studs to rear windows, easy to drill out 2 new holes for these, all the other studs are in the same place
