ugg this damn grille

ugg this damn grille

i painted my bumper trim . with trim paint and it turn out good so i wanted to do the rest of the truck . but is there a way to get the grille off with out braking any tabs

im guessing your trying to get the insert out. it can be done without breaking any tabs but its tough. when I swapped mine in I think I broke 2 tabs. didn't effect it at all though. I just used a flat tip screw driver and took my time with it.

I don't think it can be done. Not without breaking some tabs or at the very least marring the plastic with a screwdriver or something. I'd just mask off the outer grille surround.

x 2 - thats how i painted mine and it was easy... still looks a ton better two years later
