what does this do?

i recently put a pretty significant bend/dent in the silver tubing behing my radiatior on my front axel assembly im not really sure what the tubing is though so can anybody help me? thanks

Need details.. like what kind of truck.. transmission etc.

I'm guessing either a transmission cooler line.. or something to do with air conditioning.

Has any one else had the thought it might be the rack and pinion? Just a thought.

ummm... i have a 2003 3.0 v6 edge ranger. i think i made a mistake in sayin where it is located in the section behind wut i think is the radiator in the section between my left and right spindles.

sounds like the p/s cooler... if it is crimped shut, you need to buy a new one. If it isnt crimped and its not leaking, drive on....

ok thanks ya ill try and get a pic up in the next couple of days. it is crimped but i think there is still room for fluid to go through and no leeking.
