Everyone seems to have a Fog light mod. What exactly does this mod entail? I would like to add a little spice to my fogs

On older rangers when you have the parking lights on alone the fog lights did not come on. Unlike newer models. As for they year they changed it i am not sure(but i know some one else certainly does) but it a really easy mod to do.

It's on here somewhere. I'm the "originator" of the method used, which just involves bending a pin on a relay. I don't remember if it works on 1998 though.

I'm working on another foglight mod where you remove them and replace them with 50 watt CO2 lasers. A new way to "cut through traffic"...

Wow. A lot more complicated on the older Rangers. Geez. On 2001 to 2003 you just have to remove a relay, bend a pin, and put it back, lol.

Although slightly different, 99 and 2000 also use a version of the bent pin mod like 2001 ~2003. The one you posted is basically correct for 95~98 although the color code for the added wire is not the same for every year.

there are 3 types of fog light mods: 1. the fog lights on with high beams mod.
2. the fog lights turn on with parking lights mod.
3. the replace your stock 9145's for 9005's mod.
