Winch

What brand of which do you prefer?

I need about a 8000lb winch and ive been looking at a few brands.


Smittybulit.
Ramsey.
Warn.
Mile marker.

whic is best for my money?

Warn ftw! They manufacture them about 10 minutes from my house! Best for you money would be Mile Marker.

Just got a 12,000lb Mile Marker on our grass truck at the FD and we love it to death.

I have a Warn XD8000i for the front and I just bought a 10,000lb smittybilt for the rear(havnt used it yet), I'm going to make a mult-mount set up using the winch plate from the Warn grill guard I had on my 93. 4wheelparts was having a sale on the smittybilt winches...8000lb was $249 and the 10,000lb was $349.

I don't know what kind I have but I have heard good things about Warn

Just remember you get what you pay for and Mile marker and Smittybilt are made in china.

MM hydro! I have a Warn for the wife's truck, but the hydro is king if you want to do LONG, hard pulls all day!
