Hey guys, well i saw the 4 year old post about the XLT package and it got me thinking.. If the XLT package is just a trim package, than what is the Sport package? just another trim package? or does it involve more than that?

i know that it has color matched bumpers/mirrors/grill, but is there anything else?

i googled, and used RF's search function and could find nothing...

 

Its just like the Edge, vinyl floor ( I think), color matched stuff, etc

 

i dont have vinal floor( i think lol) i havnt seen my truck in soooo long.. so basically its just another trim package... how gay lol...

XL , XLT , Sport , Edge , XLT offroad , Spash , Fx4 offroad , FX4 level II , STX , High Rider , GT (1st gen trucks) , Custom (1st gen trucks)

these are all trim packages your sport is like a Splash and Edge its main difference is the MonoChrome paint job

 

all sports did not come Vynal floor carpet was an option unlike Edge's once again showing how all are a little bit different

Nope, lots of 4x4 edges. Now I've seen more 2wd than 4x4 but they do exist.

why would they offer vinyl on a nicer looking truck like that?? i dont get it..

though at times, i would like vinyl for when im wheeling. easier to clean up. but driving barefoot wouldnt be as nice then.

 

Yeah I got carpet floormats in mine, I drive barefoot more than I do with shoes on.

most of the 4x4 edges were sold in the midwest and northeast for use in the winter.
