Yellow Fogs.

I also posted this on Ranger Power Sports.

Stock fogs, stock bulbs. I used Krylon glass spray paint. You can only do one coat, spray one way. This takes about 15 seconds.. spray a thin layer on the front of the lense, then spray the 4 sides and it will make them look a real nice deep yellow. If you mess up, just use acetone and a dish sponge and try again! The left side bulb appears brighter, but its the angle of the camera. If I only had HIDs...

Not a big fan of the yellow lights, but whatever floats your boat works for me. How much does the yellow stick out during the day when the lights are off?

It'll come off? WHat do you mean? the acetone thing? Yeah. I already acetoned one light that I couldn't get right. I painted the first light and it looked perfect. Looked OEM off another car or something. So i painted the 2nd one and it was darker, so i was like so I did a quick coat on the 1st light and the paint didnt settle right so i acetoned that one and matched it to the darker one.

I would LOVE to do that blue angel eye mod but I don't have the time nor patience to do so.
When I was driving tonight with them on, i got all scared of being pulled over. But its not fair. I see HUGE lifted F-350s with their fogs on that are brighter than their headlights. Plus yellow fogs come stock on some cars.
Maybe I should just paint my headlights? A cop told me your forward facing lights can only be white, yellow, or orange. No blue, no pink, green.

Ok so kind of off topic, but is there a mod that you guys know of (maybe similar to the High-beam and foglight mod) in which the fogs can be on without anything else on, in order to use them as a sort of drl

my stock fogs are white, but in really foggy/bad weather, i use my hella amber fogs. they're yellow and i installed hella 100 watt xtreme yellow coated bulbs, making them a real deep (and bright) yellow.

I'm thinking 6000k Yellow Fogs and 8500K for the main lights on my 2006. Or I might just use 8500k for both to be annoying...

Main thing about keeping them the same is I tend to drive with the fogs on 100% of the time.

The yellow annoys me, I just hooked up some cheap auxillary driving lights that simulate the HID white and they are amazing!!

6000k is not yellow, it's white with a tint of blue. 3000k is yellow

8500k is going to be pretty blue.
