That looks really good! I just read through the whole thing, and I dont think I read a weight for it. How much does that weigh?

for the fogs ever thought about putting them on the bottom with a hinge to lift them up behind the bumper for when you're off the pavement and dont want them damaged?

I still think they would get hit from underneath. If I do them they will be in the bumper just looks better imo. The square fogs look ok not sure if i like them yet, but the round ones are pretty big and might look weird on it.

Andy i think as soon as you paint the bumper Black black again i think it'll help the square fogs out if you put em in

Good point, what about quick release pins and quick disconnect wiring connectors? simple and easy.

yes, i just am not fully done with it yet so I was leaving all the grinding till I was done cutting up and welding stuff on it. I think I'm going to just finish it all up before I go this week and get it all cleaned and painted and figure out the fogs later on.

If you want to do some Super-Duty fogs let me know. I have a set that you might be able to use.

I rarely have my plate in. I ussually only run it when I am going out of state. This time I will probably have my light bar in at least until I get to madison.

Oh and fleet farm sells licence plate holders that fit into a 2" receiver. They are like $10 and powder coated. I may get one because the one I made is starting to rust.

man i love your truck!!! and i love your bumper too... i've been lurking around the forums for a few hours now and all these bumper builds are making me want to rip the stock ones off my ranger and put the ones from my chevy on the ford.. the front is 2x3 rectangular tubing and the rear is 4x4 square tubing bolted to the frame.. especially when the stock bumpers collect all the mud and crap and its a real pain to dig it out..

thanks man! yeah plus you cant get anything for bumpers for a new gen truck really. But if you gots plenty of money placed will mod them for one but yeah. Making it is half the fun. I like tube bumpers too, I just didnt have a way to do one at the time so I went with a plate style.

Winch behind it is still a maybe, there is plenty of room behind it. But I still might do the 2" receiver mount so I can take it off in the winter. I dont think road salt etc would be good for it.

I'd receiver mount it. You never know when it would be a good time to move the winch to the rear to pull yourself out that way.
