some heavy metal action

well after i built my front tow hooks crossmember and added the reciver to it. i wanted to make another unique thing to put in it.

ive got my hook i made. and ive used a few times. mostley slam it on all the pot holes here this damn state.

heres my new creation. i used a bigrig leaf spring U bolt. shortend up a bit and bent to fit the 2" square stock. all welded with SMAW 7018 around 120amps. no its not plated up. that all solid welds. spent 4 hours welding it. and 6 hurs grinding it with a flap disk 60grit wheel to what it is now. also the end is capped with a 1/4" steel square i cut for looks. it has hole drilled so it can me mounted flat or vertical. and makes a good step.

Great minds think alike, I was too lazy to go take a pic of mine so I found a video still where I had it in. Exact same thing just not welded as much as yours haha and they do make a great step.
