Bending

Are you able to do any metal working at all? Cutting, welding etc? You can buy a bender from Harbor Frieght for about $80 and bend your own. Once you've done it, making a few mistakes along the way, you'll learn it yourself and you'll have it for the rest of your life.
It's cheap and you can say "I did it myself" Good luck to you. Ron

Sorry man, those PIPE benders are garbage for tube work. It kinks the tube making it structurally unsound. You need a TUBE bender, and they will run you a minimum 7-800 bucks

Hey man, great idea to buy your own but this is my LAST mod’d truck, after this strictly OEM or a few simply bolt-ons.
the only bender I would want is the Shark and it is too pricey for me.
I have a small shop but no room for a bender.

Thanks

I know what you're talking about with the kinking (mistakes as you go along, I've done it) but the last time I did tubing I used a sand slurry mix to fill the tube with solid wet sand, sealed the ends with a couple layers of duct tape and it worked out very well.
I also understand about it being your last modded truck. I've been thinking of downsizing, finishing something and just enjoying it. I'm sorry for assuming that you were a younger person who didn't know how to or want to try and learn how to bend or fab. Didn't mean to do that.

No problem on the age thing, remember it is all in your mind.

i am the oldest member of the 4x4 Club I belong to but it keeps me young.

I found a local guy I will have to approach him but it is nice to bend fit weld, maybe bend again.

Later,
