1996 Ranger splash w/M112 Supercharger
Hello,
I just joined this particular ranger forum and I thought I'd say hello with my latest project. I had a 5.0 Ranger for about two years as a daily driver. Now I wanted something a little more unique. I found an SVT Cobra M112 Supercharger and set out to build it so it would fit under the stock hood. Keep in mind this is a splash street truck so no body lifts allowed. :) I built the "upper" intake myself from rectangle aluminum tubing and 3/16 aluminum plate. I thought I was going to have to trim the hood insulation to make it fit but in the end it just fit with no modification to the hood at all. I have many more pics of the project in progress but here is the end result.
Thanks.

Thanks. I thought about going to an 8 rib belt as I have the room. It would require machining the harmonic balancer with the bigger pulley. The rest I could find except for the power steering which would have to be machined as well. Not impossible but too much work at the moment as there is nothing belt slippage...yet. (May go higher psi)
