I'm buying another ranger in a couple of weeks. From what I've been seeing on here, it's either a super/turbo charger or a 5.0 swap to gain a lot of power quickly. Bolt ons don't put out enough for what I'm looking for. Has anyone seen/done/heard of a twin turbo V6? Any tips as to where to start?

 

nothing twin turbo on a ranger. Someone I know did build a 370hp/tq 4.0L for someone and it wasn't cheap

 

Ford has the new Ecoboosts

3.5l twin turbo in the F-150, 356HP 420ft/lb torque

Not sure on the dimensions, it is a 60deg V not a 90deg but I am sure turbos add some width

All aluminum so not too heavy

Started using these in the 2011 F150, could be a roll over or fender bender to be picked up, but I would think it would still be pricey

 

Look into how the terlingua mustangs were done up. Believe those were around 375 HP.
