Is this a joke? lmao

Nice truck man. I wouldn't opt for the 5.5 bed and the supercab myself, but it is a cool truck. I bet it feels like it turns on a dime too!
My AEM intake sounds real nice, but the intake air temps are higher. I would suggest a Volant intake (with a box and dry filter) if you must get one. If you run an aftermarket intake, the truck will run lean due to the style of air sensor. If you look at the intake, you'll notice the MAF sensor is stuck into the inside of the intake like a wafer. If it's plugged into an intake of different diameter it will not meter air correctly. You will need a custom tune (which you will want anyway for sure).
Get a gryphon like Zach said, from power hungry performance. They are the only people who can custom tune the Edge for intake, headers etc.

I'm pretty sure sync wasn't available in the F150s until '09.

Great looking truck though, you'll like driving it more than the Ranger IMO.......f150 FTW!

Thanks Everyone! Brian your truck is the inspiration for my truck. Just with a little Jeweler54 pizazz thrown in there. LOL. Im looking into the gryphon and maybe the JLT intake.

I think we need a F-150 section here for real. LOL

NO JLT intake. There very hard to get tuned properly. I ran a volant box style on mine with great results combined with the gryphon and full exhaust.

Wow. After looking at that intake I would definitely not recommend it!
The HP/TQ increases they claim on their site on from the tuner alone, I promise. The tuner by itself is a huge increase. That intake is going to draw hot air from the top of the engine compartment, I bet the intake temps on that would be even higher than my AEM intake behind the headlight with a heat shield.

I mean it's your truck, but I don't like the idea of it at all. I bet with all other things being equal, you would lose power with that intake compared to stock, due to intake temps.

Very nice Ben. Got to love the supercab short bed. A little tidbit about the supercab short bed Ford discontinued that configuration in all trim packages except the Raptor in 2010,

Plus install. I wouldn't do it myself. Maybe if it was a 4 banger Honda but not a OHC V configuration engine.

Good luck with the cams. 600+ for just the cams, not to mention if go past a Stage 1 style cam...You will need springs. Then labor is close to 1000 bucks just to put the cams in, prolly more. A lot of money for not much usable gain on a F150.

I think I will keep the motor closed up for now, eventially I might S/C, but I think it has plenty of power stock!

Thanks Everyone, I honestly regret not buying a F-150 when I bought the red truck. So yall think the Volant is the best intake?

Looks good Ben. I've seen a few trucks with that bed/cab combo over the years, but I like the 6' bed a little better.

nice. same as mine but white and short bed. get some pics of interior. ive had mine since july and love it. only thing ive done to it is front and rear catchall xtreme floormats, a gun sling/rack for my backseats, trailer brake controller, and i got a led lightbar for xmas that i havnt got to put on yet. it was leveled, tinted, and aftermarket muffler when i bought it. when taxes come in im either gettin spray in liner, gooseneck ball, hella headlamps, led 3rd brake, or a tool box. maybe get wheels or tires but idk yet. good luck w/ the truck and hope it works out for ya

I wouldnt run an intake either. I prefer the gryphon as the #1 best mod you could ever do to a f150. that should be the first thing you ever buy. I love mine. I have no desire for an intake. The stock one seems to flow fine.

Stock flows fine but the noise you get from aftermarket intake is worth all the money! It sounds amazing, least my volant did anyways. Just shop used I picked mine up for $80 with all mounting hardware.
