Edge_Wannabe's Solid axle swap buildup thread

Figured since I started cutting steel yesterday, and brenton is coming down this weekend, I'd get the obligatory buildup thread started with the first pics I've taken.

WOO! I'm so stoked.

But Parts Mike Parts really ticked me off. I now had to buy a brand new knuckle made by 'Crane' from a shop around the ATL.

I can't get it back from him in time, even though he told me countless times that it'd be here before Fri.

Thats too bad he was nothing but helpfull when i dealt with him. but in his defense he does do alot of business. and its only him and one other guy who do it all. I realize he said he could get it done but cant now, what is he doing in return? refund?

Edit: i hope your buying two Crane knuckles, would be a waste to only have one good knuckle and one stocker

he is only buying one crane.... damn thing is worth it's weight in gold. lotta bones for it... i'm actually pickin it up from the Shop today at lunch and runnin it down there tomorrow, so the truck can't be completed without me now!!!

Bout that partsmike thing, from what i recall he had over 2 weeks to get it done! Brenton has already been billed for service not yet rendered and now the knuckle won't be back in time.. I told him to just tell him to ship it back uncomplete and get a local place to mill it if need be....

I was under the impression that the knuckle was indeed finished, but he shipped it out later than was required for a friday delivery.

Nice!!!

You should start a R-F member SAS service. 2 weeks with the truck, some stacks (money) and a few parts
