If you want them to live MUCH longer, mount the shields inside of the plastic fender instead of outside as from the factory. This requires repunching the two rear holes to make it line up but it is a worthwhile mod, especially if you have oversize tires.
Here is the remounted shield. At the top of the photo, you can see the "witness mark" on the inner fender where the splash shield used to be on the outside:

Nope, I just bought 2 passenger side shields a month ago and they are exactly that size - the same as came from the factory on the passenger side of my 03.
As stated above, if you order the driver side shield, it has been shortened and is useless. The passenger side is full sized and also fits perfectly on the DS.

your better off buying some flat rubber from a distributor and making your own.
I happen to come into a roll of rubber, 2ft wide, 1/8 think 40ft long... for free, which I used for stone gaurds for behind my fog lights. I have been meaning to make splash gaurds for around my engine, but so far I have been able to find better things to do with my time.
