Daam really? Well the ones i drove at work brand new are sweet. Fx4's. I might buy one. For next vehicle. They got power as long as the turbo is working lol..more room amd beter gas than my truck.

Are people towing past its capacity? If ur gunna tow alot get a superduty. F150 is not made for work in my opiinion. Its for the guy that likes to sit up high and wants comfort and luxury and may put stuff in the bed without gettin it scratched or dirty.

F150 can tow plenty. As long as you don't exceed it's capabilities

Nope. My cousin got one and he tows his boat (14ft Sea Nymph) about 10 miles just about everyday after work, after 8k miles his turbo blew. They still spool and act like they're working, but theres no boost.
and when the boost goes out, you start getting 8mpg. The EcoBoost isn't everything its cracked up to be, but they're nice trucks for mall crawling.
IMO, the 5.0 is the best engine for the trucks right now.

Heard the same thing... my buddy's dad has one and isn't happy at all with the mileage while towing. His old '05 5.4 was far better off that way with a trailer behind it.

What 5.4 the 3 valve or 2 valve? The ones pre 04 are the same as the 4.6. Need a good supply of air to blow out all the dirt around the spark plug.

9 time out of 10, the threads come with the plug. I have the kit pedro posted, they aren't cheap, but its almost inevitable.
won't matter the valve number. its the heads.

yeah my boss' truck is starting to misfire. did a few tests justin suggested and its been narrowed down to a misfire which sucks. I really don't want to touch it but i'll be getting paid so whatever. if it decides to not want to cooperate ill have the kit available

Yea, i'll literally replace everything else before plugs, just because its time consuming. and the bad part is, nothing you do really helps it. i've done about 3 or 4 of them.

I know I wouldnt personally own an Ecoboost no matter what. Sure they are beast and have crazy torque, but the way I see it, I would NOT want that turbo to go out after warranty regardless. And yeah on the F150 forums, alot of guys complain about the mileage but love the engine. But You hardly hear of any one complaining about the 5.0. Id have to have that motor. My favorite rig on the fiddy forums. THis guy gets a new truck like this about avery year and buys all new mods for it lol
