Hey beard, what kind of mileage are you getting with such a sick tune of 250 HP? how much torque gains are you getting (estimated)?

Needs new turbo o rings, new ball joints (other are too tight) and new rims/tires because the stock rims are leaking around the valve stem due to rust. I have to fill them up every week.

Still want it lol

lol, I got mine for less than half that and all it needed was tires.

Are 7.3's worth that much (there) or are you kidding around?

16.5 sounds a tad high, but definitely not unreasonable. People in my area will pay a premium for a good condition 7.3 with less than 100k.

just gotta find the time and money to do the swap

Josh i think 16k is a little high for an ext cab i got mine for 15k with similar mileage and mines a lariat crew cab, but you might find someone willing to pay that much cuz low mileage 7.3s are hard to come by these days

if i hadnt found mine i may have... its almost impossible to find a 7.3 around here with less than 100k and if it did the guys wanted 20-22k but they still are trying to sell them after 3 months

I traded up as well. You probably all know what it looks like as I've whored it out in the past lol

Here's the pic that's linked in my sig for now though.. from earlier this summer

Size: 234.2 KB

Its "built" but still needs a HPOP, fuel system, larger charger, and larger nozzles. The 17* HPOP that's in it can't handle my injectors with agressive tuning, the stock fuel system can't keep up, and the qssb charger is too small. Other than that, it needs a Dana 60 with RSK kit, and some body work. I wish money grew on trees

freddie thats a clean obs if you ever get a new hpop i could use a 17* ive got the dang 15* since its an early 99.
just curious why a D60? you might be able to find a D50 out of a superduty easier

Lol I wish I was ready Zach. I have some bills to catch up on, but when I do, I think a HPOP is first on the list, followed by a D60. My buddy told me one of my neighbors actually has one for me out of a '93 or '94, lives like 3 miles away, and wants $500 for it. Sounds like a deal IF its complete and in decent shape. But I will get ahold of you when I'm ready, if that deal falls through. Right now though, I'm more concerned about finding a winter DD and paying some bills.

BTW, thanks for the compiment!

Haha Thanks! I don't think you want my 17*, I believe she isn't as fresh as she once was. I need to order that AE software, and do some datalogging, but by the symptoms, I've been told that more than likely its my HPOP that's weak. It might still be good, and I can always contact you if I decide to upgrade. I could use your 15* as a core. I planned on going with an Adrenaline pump, but have a fresh interest in the new Stealth pumps.

A D60 out of a OBS Ford F350 bolts right in, and doesn't require any modification that the Super Duty 50's and 60's require. I believe the spring perch width is different, as is the bolt pattern. Not sure what else though, I THINK brakes are different as well. Its just the most straight forward swap to use a 60 out of a 93/94-97 F350, as I can re-use my hubs and brakes if need be. Heck, depending on the lift I won't even have to disconnect my calipers so I wouldn't need to bleed my brakes LOL . I plan to eventually do a D60 (with Warn Premium hubs and a locker), SD leafs, reverse shackle kit, and Bilsteins. Should be good to get the nose up off the ground and considerably improve ride quality.

Do you have a HPOP gauge? Easy enough to make a temporary one and see what pressures you're getting. Truck looks good

im sure you one could be rigged up but depending on what your looking at it may need to read over 25,000psi

gotcha freddie i see what you mean, im not sure what im going to do with my hpop but i only plan to go up to stage 1s so i may be ok, right now im working on getting water/meth injection, that should get me close to the 400hp range i want while keeping egts down at the same time

You mean 3000psi. 25k would be one burly oil pump.
