other way around. its higher pressure until it fires, especially when cold, 7.3s should idle at around 500-700 when the fuel is spraying and it can get as high as 3000psi when cranking especially with sticky worn out injectors

that was when i picked it up, didnt have registration or plates, and it was coming from out of state.. didnt want to risk using plates off another truck so we just trailered it home. going to do a little trailer hauling for a friend and maybe ***** it out for transporting depending what that Insurance goes for.

i need the HIDs because i drive all back roads and deal with a lot of wild life, which is why i did the 05 swap a deer decided to jump in front of me, they are only 46in off the ground and not too bad, ive been flipped off a few times but when they are adjusted right they arent to bad, eventually i plan on getting 4 stock fogs and putting em in the bumper and running HIDs in them as well, so i can use just those as my lights when driving in the city as not to blind to many people .
trucks are looking good guys

Update?? Hmmm
Picked a bad day to go back in the woods to cut firewood lol I got up the hill, just took a 2nd run at it.
New LUND cold front grill. They've been discontinued for years but my buddy was scrapping a truck with one on it :)
New wheel spacers on the rear which finally allowed me to put center caps on :)
One of these days when its sunny again I'll go play in the field behind the house and get some pictures with the DSLR

There are a buttload of deer around here as well, I've nearly hit several on country roads while I'm driving with low-beams due to oncoming cars. That's what insurance is for. You (and everyone else) would be a lot better off with proper (legal) head lights bulbs, aimed properly. Run a set of quality high wattage off road lights, if anything, when you're in the country/mountains and no other traffic is on the road. In Oregon I had KCs mounted on my Ranger's offroad bumper and used those in the mountains at night. I wired them through my fog light switch and made sure they were off any time I saw light coming from another car. Maybe that is still illegal, but it isn't hurting anyone else because they were never on around another vehicle.
Sorry I'm derailing the thread, going off on a tangent. Not trying to be a dick, just trying to persuade you to get rid of those damn lights!
Freddie, your truck is awesome. I don't know what it is about that bodystyle that I love so much... But it is so rare to find them with a crew cab and short bed too, love it.

im actually considering hid's in mine but not sure how they will be with the stock housing, i havent driven my truck a whole lot at night, but i was coming back from knoxville ohv on sat at night (no street lights, hardly any oncoming traffic) and i couldnt see that good with the highs on, and thats even with the added weight of my atv in the back!

HIDs in the stock housing arent nearly as nice as with projectors,
and to be honest my HIDs arent much brighter than the stockers with some silverstars, just whiter light, ive dren towards my truck with the lights on and there aint much different than other cars. almost all the new cars have HIDs in em anyways, where i live you get pulled over running offroad lights on the street before you will for HIDs
Freddie, i love your truck, i almost got one just like that in white, but didnt want to have to do the D60 swap, are you still planning on doing that? saw a guy on another forum put an 05+ front end under it so it had coil springs, and a tighter turning radius.

with my mazda they would have been ... t100s however are actually built to handle weight in the back, it sits perfectly level with it in there.
