Thanks! Yep, a D60 swap is still on my list, though I have no ETA on it..

The '05 swaps are cool, but I'll probably keep it simple and just do a D60 swap with RSK kit.

Sad story? How so? There's nothing wrong with a 6.0L if you take care of it and take the appropriate preventative actions. Flush coolant and swap to CAT ELC, delete tthe EGR cooler and put a new oil cooler in it. That's a start

there is no sad story here haha... I'm buying it off a friend of the family. He took very good care of it. An 06 with only 60k miles on it and has the 7 year extended warranty. The truck looks brand new minus a few scratches in the bed and he has never had a problem with it. Next saturday will be the big day and i cant wait

Get an Edge Insight on that thing so you can monitor the EOT and ECT, IMO that should be the first mod for every 6.0. That way you can fix a minor problem (if it exists) before it becomes a major problem.

Looks good BTW.

Nice truck! I love reg cab's. I would have got one instead of my super cab, but with all the winter wear and recovery gear I carry it would have been a single seater 90% of the time, lol.

thanks for the positive comments.
i looked into the Edge Insight and that will defiantly be one of my first mods rather then doing the pod gauges. my other mods that i'm going to do first off the bat is of course a cold air intake (dont know what kind) and mbrp 5" either cat back or turbo back exhaust.
the tranny is a 5 speed torqshift.
and i have to get a toolbox for my junk. i am all for ext. cabs and 4 doors just for the extra room in the cab but after seeing this truck i can get used to a reg cab

I prefer PSN, some great guys in the 6.4 sections. Smack Talk is always a good one too. :)

^^^I recognize your trucks from PSN. I'm on there quite a bit, not posting much...mostly just dreaming of owning a powerstroke.

Welcome to RF
