So a little over a year later and I still show up from time to time...
A few photo's on how it sits now.
So far the mods include an A.R.E. topper with roof rack, Amp Research Power Boards, Power Locking tailgate, added rear camera, bedlights, Weathertech floormats.
There would be more but I'm saving for some serious changes to the Jeep - It's feeling short so it's time for 6 more inches of lift and new axles / tires.

And the main reason for the F-150 as my ranger could no longer pull this much weight.



I am currently averaging 18 mpg's with a Kayak on it. 19 mpg's without, 13 mpg avg with the Jeep on the trailer.

The Edge is now owned by my neighbor. I see it everyday still.

Pulls great, even without the brake controller. Wish I didn't wait so long to upgrade to a full size now.

 

my dad had a truck identical to yours but it was white and a 2010 5.4.
i had a 2007 ex cab fx4 but traded to a 04 cobra, then back to a single cab 07 fx4, then up to a 2010 ex cab fx4 lol. wish i had the 5.0 but the 5.4 will do for a few years. ive never driven solely on the hwy to get a true hwy mpg but ive had my dash say 20mpg before. anyone know of any problems in the 5.4 and why they switched to the 5.0?
