Yeah. I looked at mine on my way to work tonight and realized it's 85, not 90. Even better :(

Bounced it around on fordvehicles.com to see whats available optionwise: once again the 4.0L is not available on a reg. cab, and the 3.55 with open diff is the only available axle. Fortunately the 4.0L supercab IS available with the manual transmission.

Great Job on the photos! 23,000 for that STX? NOT! I paid 12,500 for my 2003 Ranger Edge 3.0 sloo.....new off of the lot. The front bumper is too big. It looks as big as the front bumper of a Lightning!

I like that STX...but I'm gonna have to agree with the fact that the MAZDA tails HAVE to go....they are ugly
But I'd happily take the CF radio bezel, hehe

to bad mazda tails arent swappable with ranger ones, so you would have some fab work inline for you

haha, thas the spirit....lowriders cant get it up! haha, had to make a reference

but the valance is kinda unproportional...or maybe its the camera angle...it looks like its 3 or 4 inches below the rocker panels....eh i dunno....

as long as they start makin euros for it so i can get some!!!!!!! haha

valence is made to match the orignal SEMA ranger's body kit, and thats why the front doesnt match up to the rocker panels, however, throw on some aftermarket sideskirts and it will smooth it all out, well, that and some better wheels and a real lowering kit

It's not that exciting, and if you're much over 6 feet you won't fit in there anyway.

Or if you park in a standard lot, i.e. grocery store......There's a nice roof over the door....ATTACHED to the door.

We have a guy here that is about 6 foot 6 and he sat in one and about half of his head was sticking out over the windshield. He couldn't close the door. The prototypes we had didn't have that roof in the door and that made them almost impossible to get in to and out of.

If you see one again, get a load of that subwoofer between the seats. It's so big and ugly. Who buys a car like that for the stereo? Does it really need a McIntosh head unit?

People w/ too much bloody money! That's who..

There's a post on one of the photo sites I read from time to time of a guy who did a photo shoot w/ a GT. Basically he found one sitting in a Best Buy parking lot in Dalas, just happened to have his camera w/ him, and just started firing away. He got some pretty good close shots of the wheels/brakes..

tippinover- do your tails have a funky bump/bulge on the top where the round edge of the bed would be? (imagine it goin through the lights?) cuz the ones on the STX do, and thats the main thing I didnt like about them. I just did not look right.

nope mine are just smooth

member PThrift, works at a Chevy/Mazda dealership....they started useing them in 04 as a semi redesign of the body style....we call them "boob lights" as well...i guess guys can see it....haha...

i actually prefer them to mine....mine look too silimar ro ranger lights and it ticks me off that NOONE has made ANY aftermarket parts for my truck at all....

hopefully that will all change with the production of this mazda-with-a-ford-grill truck...

Yeah i believe the Mazda tail's are flush and the Ranger tail's have some curvature to them. But if i had the STX, i'd buy some Mazda lights.

I hate that truck, but DAMN I'm driving out there to see that GT! I have been looking all over for one of those. I'm over the 05' Mustangs, those things are all over out here, I must have seen 30 or more of them on the road and my dealer has TONS of the em'. But yea I'm gonna have to head out that way to see the GT!

I guess that's why Ford dropped the flareside bed. I wonder if this bed will be an option on other models?(EDGE)

They are nice looking and the 5.4L really doesn't sound like one, but you almost have to be a midget to drive one. But I bet there is a lot more room than in the original.

well if you ever noticed that the GT40's back in the 60's had a bump in the roof.. that was to make clearance for the drivers being over 6 foot tall and wearing their helmet as required.

Dave, have you ever seen the episode from "Top Gear".....it's a British show. Anyways, they had a big segment on the GT last year.....driver could NOT even fit in the older GT40...but could in the new one.

All these complaints about seating are exactly why the Saleen S7 is still my favorite. That, and now, the S7 is twin turbo. 750 HP.
