Bummer

Send them back

I recently read that Flareside(stepside) and regular flat side beds used different sizes, I thought they were the same

From what I understand that from 2000 and up all taillights could be switched from stock to aftermarket taillights

Well 2000 and up use the 2 wire setup so that is correct for the wiring at the two bulbs on each side

And I thought sizes were the same from 1993 thru 2011, even earlier
But as said, recently read a post of someone switching from regular bed to step side and he said his regular side lenses were to big, he had to order step side lenses, I found that odd, because I had never seen that mentioned before

They are the same size, left and right, so I would say it is an issue with the new lenses

Aftermarket taillights fit like garbage. They'll almost always rub the paint or "wobble" in the opening.

It's funny because the passenger side fits better than the driver but I still have to trim a little of the truck to make them it which I have no problem with
